OH NO. Dad was a big KR fan. I did learn to appreciate
some of his songs. But even at that young age, I knew
there was something terribly, terribly wrong with that concert, believe me...
The only other 'state fair' show I've ever seen was at the
Ohio state fair round the same time when Robert Plant opened
for Stevie Ray Vaughn. ^

Im gonna guess Donnie and Marie Osmond's World Tour of the
Amish Country. You remember ~the Mandrell Sisters opened?
Special guest Glen Cambell? No? I heard the cheese sold
out in the parking lot that year was particularly good.

Or was it The Bay City Rollers 'opening' for the Village
People? (insert visual here> )
